And he made you because he loves you and wanted you in this world.

You didn’t have to earn being special. You just ARE.
He made you on purpose, with your sweet heart, your laugh, your story. Nothing about today changes that. You are, and we're, wanted.

Feelings come and go, but God’s truth doesn’t.
When you don’t feel special, remember: The King of the universe calls you His child. That makes you the most special of all.

I’m praying for you today. You matter. You’re seen. And you’re loved — by Him, and by people here like me, too.

@uncalled4 Yep. Me too. That hurt me, too, because I think of all the times and all those years I could have been learning about and loving Jesus who's real, instead of some fantasy. I would have been so much closer and I believe my faith would have been so much stronger, if I had been told about Jesus from the very first. But somehow even as little as I was I knew there was a God and I loved him even then when I got old enough to really start thinking about things.

@twistedrope that is really sad. I'm so sorry. That never should happen. You are loved. You may not know or realize that but you are loved more than you will ever know, by your real father, who made you, in heaven. Maybe that doesn't mean much now and that's okay because you are entitled to your own beliefs but I'm just wanting you to know that you are loved by many, including strangers like myself. Everyone deserves to be loved. I bet you don't know that God loves you so much that he has every hair on your head numbered. And he knows exactly every time you lose one. Not trying to preach. I'm just telling you. You need to know that. To him you are more precious than you will ever know, to him.

@LadyGrace I had to correct sorry as it was just... I acknowledge I had no parental love in my life. It was a healthy lie to remove. If I believed my parents loved me, I would perpuate the same coercive controlling neglectful abuse I was subjected to.

But no, I love and give love freely to those of whom I care. And I mean actual love like accepting someone for who they are, letting someone else take the wheel from time to time and being vulnerable and supportive. Easy and practiced at this point.

It is a shame some parents do not love their children. But I am at peace with it. And you are right, everyone does deserve to be loved.

@LadyGrace actually, it doesn't bother me. All I know is they were a young, French-Canadian couple. I was born in Maine. I don't really care. My parents are the ones who raised me and they will always be my parents. I'm not one of those who've wondered about as real parents are. For whatever reason, they chose not to raise me. So as I'm concerned, they don't deserve to know me. I couldn't have had better parents than what I had. But I got very angry with my cousin and I shut down all contact with her. My mother was supposedly her favorite yet, yet she broke the family vow to keep my adoption secret.

@Gibbon I'm so glad to hear that you had great parents and you're not letting this other affect you and make you upset or sad.

@LadyGrace no, I was actually more angry at her, but like I snuck in there, it did answer some questions about how different people in my family treated me. Even my mother's closest sister didn't know much except for the fact that my real parents were French-Canadian.

@Musicman 😭 To me, that tells me how much it hurt her and she really couldn't cope. That's probably why she didn't tell you cuz she didn't want you to be hurt. I think you deserve to know but sometimes people don't always know the right thing to do.

@LadyGrace I definitely understand and agree with you. She had to see a psychiatrist because of it. This was all before I was born.

@LadyGrace Thank you for saying that. But I was being Dumb and dumber for past whole week.

Every evening I was going out with my friend and I was hoping we would party but everytime he would take me to a shop and buy something for his home. And I just felt out of place to just walk to the shop and walk back home.

Yesterday I broke this cycle

@DanielsASJ there's nothing wrong with going up with friends but I can imagine I would have felt out of place as well.
