Small steps to bigger goals

It happens. The trick is to optimize your environment for work so you're forced to do it. Like getting a friend or someone to hold you accountable that you completed your work. And start by doing the smallest and easiest task which seems the least intimidating. Accept that you're not always going to be in the mood for it and that's normal, and just do it anyway.

Almost always. I'm sorry you experience it too, especially considering you have a job to maintain.

This is exactly how I've always felt about math in stress.
Other than that, I have extreme bouts of reluctance to do something but if I really had to, I would do it. It's just that if it's left up to me I won't do it.
