Some people are mean and bitter because they had a rough childhood. Some people are kind and caring for the same reason.

You can always tell what sort of life an elderly person has had. If they frown and are grumpy all the time, they’ve had a hard life. But if they smile and are generally joyful, they’ve also had a hard life but can’t remember it 😉
