Oh that is VERY true. I am very good friends with someone here whose mother was actually a monster and who did such a number on him that he feels guilty when he eats anything at all, and he has a lifetime HEART condition, which his C-word mother should have had repaired when he was a baby. Now it's too late. She was unbelievably cruel. locked him in a closet and then beat him when he soiled his clothes. I could go on and on....the things she did...I HOPE she is in a lot of pain right this minute.
Anyway, he turned out to be the sweetest, most CARING person you could imagine. Family is EVERTHING to him...no one cares more...and the BRAVERY...he has SO much he needs to overcome...but he DOES it...for his kids and his partner and his friends.

@mindstruggle He DOES!!! He has been with his partner for two years now! AND they both have kids after having been abandoned by their wives. NOW they have an enormous extended and blended family, and they could NOT be more caring or more loving toward one another.
