The tree I got my first kiss let's me sit and reminisce. Takes me to my inside place where I remember the craterous wasteland that is my personal life and that no matter when I fail, my small successes come from craters.

That first kiss held a relationship that lasted one date and 2 weeks before she texted me her ex bf threatened to kill himself so she texted us to not continue. And that's just one of the awful parts in my life that tree lets me remember.

SW is probably the best place I know. I wear so many different hats and they are all a version of me. The Mum who holds everything together, Bertie the holistic therapist, Roberta my parents daughter, the Bertie I am with my friends who have known me at my best and my worst. All of them are slightly different. Me but from a different angle. Here I can just be me.

I wouldn't want to be someone else. Most of my life I feel like I've had to be someone else you know I wanted most was to be myself.
My place of being able to be my true self would have to be in the real world or it wouldn't feel right at all.

At this stage I’m pretty tired of being myself.

I know a place I can be myself, unfortunately I'm stuck in an old place that doesn't fit anymore, but I'm working on it.

Vegas comes to mind or any random town/city outside your own where nobody knows you..

Here mostly, sadly.

Like some other responses, an online setting is usually the place where I can totally be myself. It would be nice to have something like that in real life though.

I don't know how to be anything but myself.

You can do that here, nobody needs to know that other you.. be yourself. If someone gives you flac block them, simple enough.
