Put it this way....its not my top priority.

Peace, calm, contentment: those are my daily goals.

Also health.

Happiness is a mood.
Moods come and go - its a HUGE part of what makes them moods.

It should never be a goal.
Constant happiness is by its nature unsustainable 🤷‍♀
- you reach happy, stay happy, develop a new baseline of normal..... then need to up the 'happiness' to be able to 'feel' happy. .....ad infinitum...

This is what drug addicts do🤦‍♀

Often, with happiness, the more importance you give it....the more you focus and strive for it...the harder it is to obtain.

Then when we have it, we hang onto it so tight, that when its time for it to leave.... we arent prepared to let it go.

This then creates feelings of sadness, resentment, anger.

Of course its important to have sometimes....but 'obtaining' it? - no.
True real happiness isnt something that can be acquired or secured.

Its like sunshine....it comes and it goes.

And that's part of what keeps it so beautiful 🤗
