If you're someone who is depressed, suicidal, grieving, exhausted

You made it far. If you had a message to tell yourself, let it be that you tried because you cared. You know deep down you made it this far because you value your efforts, worth, potential and you tried

The results are never in your hands but what matters is that what was entrusted to you in your care, be it money, time, health, whatever resource: you did what you had to and needed to in order to take care of yourself and those who mattered to you

And be the first witness of what you've accomplished. You don't need to let go of something that precious because others can't see it

Does it mean you disbelieved in yourself? No. Right?

And you can read this, just remember when you really were pathetic. With a large head and you fell over lots. With legs so weak you couldn't stand. You couldn't even say what you wanted or know what others meant. But you saw what you wanted to be and you tried to stand.

Every day, as a baby, falling back down. That truly was your most pathetic state. But you didn't know how to quit, then

Don't quit now. Cuz you tried til you could keep your legs beneath you. You made voices until it became eloquence. You watched until you understood

You actually made it here and feel worn because you're being tested with good. You need a rest? Then take a quick break. But don't quit

And most certainly, never disgrace who you once were. A believer in yourself before you learned quitting

Don't learn that now. Perhaps life is this puzzle where you can make it. Maybe it can change all over again. And perhaps like you changed your whole you to the big tall grown up you wanted to be (when you thought it would be all cool), maybe learn to be who you need to be next

And appreciate your journey

Your invisible scars

Don't let the storm take you. You're about to miss the rainbow on the other side. At least see it

You made it this far. You'll taste the sweetness soon. Just take the right steps. Don't cry anymore for yourself. You believed in yourself. Wake up to who you used to be. Maybe the best step forwards is taking a step back.

And try again, until you can stand again

You mattered to you, chief. Let that little soldier who once believed in you stand proud.

And see the rainbow, one more time. Taste happiness again. It comes after pain. You'll be okay, so long as you go the right way

That is very poignant and deep. And I don't want to cast aspersions on such a wonderful message. But really, I think 'procrastination' is why I'm still here.

@Thevy29 you're a brilliant guy from what I've seen and I very any conflicts with the message come from vision of things you've seen

I pray for your success over your stresses and that Allah grants you victory

That is a very inspiring message to ALL. Your thoughts run deep, and your spirit is pure.

I had a Muslim friend that suffered from depression. At one point he called an Islamic suicide hot line, and they asked him if he could drive a truck.

@IronHamster that's a really odd and sad story 😔

I hope he found the encouragement and answers he needed to the call he gave out

@AverageMuslim I think he did, but a speed bump in the WTC parking garage solved all his problems.
45 years of fighting. I’m tired of “soon.”

@OlderSometimesWiser you'll feel again

I promise. You just have to take steps and you'll always make it to where you're going

Rest up 💚
@AverageMuslim Unfortunately life doesn’t always work that way but thank you for your kind words.

Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:51) O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as friends.

@IronHamster if nothing can convince you, you're misinformed, and you cannot cite basic Islamic principles, and now if I speak you call me someone who is trying to save my life by denouncing my religion, then my hands are tied and I cannot help you 🤷🏾

At last going forwards, spend some basic time researching this for 5 minutes. Pick each thing you said, plug it into something like usul.ai maybe if you want just some automated search engine website instead of some human response. You can ask it to give you the most direct sources and you don't have to hear any of these "taqiyya Muslims"

But at least study before proliferation lies and you'll be asked about Good for this and judged for not only not having learned yourself but perhaps someone who may be interested would be deterred because they believed you
