Don't you hate it when you know what you think you like about something but you're too scared to try and get it and experience it?

This is a very common and frequent thing for me coupled with a feeling/belief that I'm not worthy enough to be 'allowed' to pursue what I think I like.

Probably hugely linked to lack of self-confidence/worth/esteem, being socially anxious/inept/awkward, and other things such as financial limitations.

I'm mostly refering to dating and romantic situations but it applies in general to most things that as non-neuro-typical person I find quite challenging.

This is where you do the best you can with what you have. Find something free to do. As much as you can just get out and do it! Don't think about why don't think about anything just do it. You have to find your confidence.

Of course, there is the matter of priorities. So many of us have other responsibilities to others, family, employers, or community that prevent us from spreading our wings to full stretch in case we fail in a role we accepted or disturb the comfortable image someone has of us..😷
Bro, no offense but wtf you talking about?

@Nunlover If this kind of issue has never been a problem for you that's wonderful.
