I have sort of experienced this with my first ex, who expected me to propose to her within 6 weeks. When she cheated on me 10+ years later I was hardly surprised. 8-)
Six weeks??? That's a bit excessive! I expect to be treated like a lady though, he'd better walk ahead and open the door for me and pay for the first meal we have out, happy to go Dutch after that though.
