Congratulations on the birth of your child.
Staying home with.little ones can be isolating for sure, but treasure this time at home with yr baby...its very precious abd over far too soon.
My year so far has been a mixed bag. My mother in laws ill health has taken its toll on us all as a family. Its draining....and horrid to see her suffer. Much of our time isnt our own, hospital visits and huvs more or less 'on call' 24/7 so there's little down time.
My son is doing better, seems happier, so im less worried about him but my daughter is going through some personal struggles. Its hard as a mum not being able to help grown up kids.
Im happy in work at the mo. I have a placement until the end of term in a lovely class with an exceptional teacher......its a long time since work has given me joy like this class does.
So..a real mixed bag.

@RubySoo I am so sorry to hear this about your family. I understand that there a lot of things going on currently, you must feel a bit defeated. But please don't give up. You are loved and cared for. I am really happy you have an area of your life that is working out. That must give you some sense of reward. I'm really enjoying my time with my son. To watch him grow is a blessings. I just feel like my mind is turning to mush. But I'm trying not to complain

Congratulations on the birth of your child. You aren’t alone in your feelings I’m sure.
This year, I’d say overall it’s been a good year, only I had a health scare that passed over. Between March and April. It was dealt with by early May. And I had taken a medical leave from my work. I still have moments of difficulty but overall I’m doing much better and very happy.
I got married this year so there’s a big milestone or event for me. A little younger than you. By your age I might be having kids myself.

I'm relatively fine now but I realized I most probably developed seasonal depression. The difference between how I feel both mentally and physically during the winter and summer got so big that I can't ignore it. I'm pretty much just in a state of recovering from some terrible period right now. I also realized how terribly low is my sense of self-worth and how even little things can make me spiral into the darkness. It's like...I'm okay in compare to how it was a few months back but overall I'm not okay because there's a long way to real stability in my life.

@CrazyMusicLover yea that doesn't sound good at all. I would suggest speaking to someone professionally about this. It can be something quite easily resolved. Well at least I'm hoping.

I am certainly NOT a "bona fide" expert within the human realms of psychology/emotions.
However-dear sweet, young lady-how about the 1986 "Force MDs" tender, romantic love song titled "Tender Love".
Perhaps you could find the aforementioned video playing on http://www.youtube.com.
Please-at your earliest convenience-let me know if this helps,

Congrats! The birth of a child has a profound impact on one's life. Every decision you make will involve them going forward. You can definitely move forward in work. It will require help from your partner in raising the child.

@Livingwell thank you. I appreciate your response. Blessings to you.

I totally understand.
I just recently revisited ole familiar places and quickly realized this is/was never where I belonged.

Very good to see you ! Best wishes to you, your little one, and Bruno.
I definitely know what it’s like to have someone from the past reappear—like the proverbial bad penny.

@bijouxbroussard hi bb your well wishes are felt and really appreciated. I hope all is well on your side.
I do wonder what would get this person to just disappear. It's really unhealthy that they feel the need to still want to connect despite how things ended and the length of time since we last spoke.

@NinaTina good advice. But unfortunately not always something I remember.
In life you need to rely on others to some degree. It's the only way to maintain the trust you have in others.
