What do you think is better - being single or being in a couple ? why?

I'm single for a bunch of years, so I'm curious to know other people's views on whether they think being single is better or being in a couple is better and why?

Being single is great. You can live your life exactly how you’d like. No compromises and no apologies.
The only thing better about being in a couple is sex on tap. But it doesn’t seem like most couples take advantage of that 🤷🏼‍♀

@Bleed I can speak from experience that the 'sex on tap' thing really isn't the real deal it's made out to be. Being able to make that work mutually and equally is very difficult and really never (in my very limited experience with dating and relationships) happens in a fully fair and equal manner.

I like being single. I have a healthy life with my son and that's all I can handle. Nobody snoring or depositing boogers and skin flakes and dirty dishes into my little world. Nobody manipulating me and making life harder and joyless.

Single is just so much better.

@Ferise1 I guess that's subjective depending on whether or not you connect with the right people for you and how a relationship actually works out. My couple experiences have not really been positive. Quite aside from the sexual/intimate problems and issues that crop up.
