What are your thoughts on first responders?

Speaking as one in a voluntary capacity, firstly at work and now in a club, basic first-aid skills are ones you hope never need use, but are used so rarely by any individual you worry if you can remember what to do when you do.

I have a great deal of respect for them. And I’m furious that the care that the 9/11 heroes fought for and deserved was scaled back by Trump, who’s probably never done anything for anyone. 😞

Had a first responder buddy who responded to a plane crash. The second he smelled the burning meat he immediately knew it was human and puked. He’s one of my hero’s .

Badly underpaid.

(At least ones like ambulance, medics, EMS and emergency fire services usually are)

First responders are heros. Front line and they deserve sooooo much respect.

Underrated, underpaid and underappreciated

All first responder salaries should be tax free.
