Do you ever feel like you have so much hidden rage inside of you? Like you're good at taming it most days, but not on some?

I'd be angry if changes would come if I do let it out. But people are disappointing. Both family and friends alike.

Do you ever find a reason to be angry? At yourself? Maybe at God? Or life? Or the world?

I know we're all just humans.

Sometimes, it feels like we're pathetic. Trying hard and working hard, enslaved by a cyclical society that caters to capitalism and enslaves people by making them believe they actually need to work harder and harder to gain more freedom. To earn more of this thing called time for ourselves to do what we want.

Since when does freedom have to be paid for?

And you can't even express the rage. There's no one who can take it. Something explosive that can flatten a mountain.

All my life. It's how my brain works, unfortunately. I was told I have always been like that even if I don't remember it from my early years. It's often unreasonable anger.
Tumbleweed · F
Not any more. Being angry just eats you alive. It's mentally as well as physically unhealthy so I've learned to shut it down & let it roll off. I refuse to be that way anymore.

@Tumbleweed

Me too. I am quick to spar verbally but I don't carry around resentment. Lose it for you, not them

Yes, tons and tons of rage. And I'm scared to let it out because I don't know what I'm truly capable of and the repercussions afterwards. I'm trying to just let it go.

@HowtoDestroyAngels I hear you.

Ever wrecked a punching bag?
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
@Casheyane nope. Put holes in walls though, back in the day.

No, I have excessive calm, even when targeted and antagonized, I am human and contrary to the post above that negatively stereotypes humans, that is automated stereotyping

My PTSD is constant rage , flowing like lava. On a good day, I don't have any eruptions!

I know it's there, I just don't know what caused it.
Ducky · 31-35, F
In the form of intense bitterness and resentment, yes.
That rage is always seething inside me.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Fortunately no. That is one problem I have never suffered from.
