I didn't die but i almost got shocked as if i did. Its the day i found out i had sleep apnea. I had just given birth to my daughter her shoulder got caught she was 10lbs so they cut me to make room for her, after stitching me up they gave me something to sleep. I remember waking up to an alarm and ppl running around yelling code blue and the machine making a flatline sound. I hear the nurse say " clear" i said really loud "I'm awake! " and she started screaming breathe! breathe! So i did. Turns out that i hold my breath when i sleep, i didn't know it, she said omg i was about to shock you. She said you held your breath way too long , and your heart rate just dropped, i guess it was the anesthesia! We were shaking you and you wouldn't wake up!

Been there, done that, there's nothing, no "light", no "tunnel", no "loved ones waiting to greet you", everything just goes black, then you wake up with some cute young Paramedic pounding on your chest trying to revive you, was lucky she did the one time it happened, apparently I was legally dead for 5+ minutes... 🤪

@SomeMichGuy It was indeed my experience and the last time was the 3rd time i'd been that close to death, shot the other 2 times, and my experience was the same every time, if someone can say different, let them. Isn't this web site supposed to be about sharing our life experiences??? I wasn't trying to "impose" my experience on anyone, just sharing what I felt and saw at the time as opposed to the above so-called oft quoted experiences of others that we've been told to expect, ad nauseum... Nothing "selfish" about it was intended, it's what happened/didn't happen to me, plain and simple. If you misinterepreted my words, sorry but that's on you... 😵💫

@SomeMichGuy Whatever, not getting into an argument with someone over near death experiences, how about you share yours, if you've ever had one?

I guess it wore off? 🤔
