Once, i was short on money for my groceries, and the person in front handed me ten dollars to cover it.
I was so grateful, and embarasssd, but i needed every one of those essentials.

It taught me a lesson. Ive handed this on quite a few times when ive had money to spare. (This is one of the reasons l keep money in my wallet).

For 10 or 20 bucks, you can make someone's day.

@OogieBoogie That's a wonderful story. About 9 years ago, my town had a rash of "pay it forward" episodes. People were paying for the orders of the person behind them at McDonald's, for example. I heard that there were 23 consecutive "orders behind me" "pay it forwards" one day, until one nasty old woman broke the chain.

That same week, I was out shopping with one of my Alzheimer's clients, who was buying some small Christmas items at the Dollar Tree, and the young man in line behind us insisted on paying for HER order.

There are SOME times and places where the Spirit lives, and is strong.
