Pancakes and Hot Chocolate For Dinner
That's the plan. Also painted some frog faces today. Nothing serious. Wrote some poems, thought about how I'm going to print and distribute my zines. I saw a sticker on a cross walk a few weeks ago that said "read my poetry or I'll kill myself" and I thought that was pretty funny.
Another night spent sober. Trying to make it well spent. If you're gonna count your days, make your days count. I have a stack of NA literature in front of me that I've been working through, I've been reaching out to friends I've made in meetings, and being honest with myself about when and why I want to use.
I like coffee, frogs, strawberry season, working in kitchens, being in love, being in recovery. I love hot tea and hotter baths, I love waking up early in the morning. I love the little family I've made for myself (partner of almost 6 years, a puppy, and a beautiful cat). I love my Higher Power as it has come to my understanding. I love New York City, I need to get back soon.
