should i feel any shame about this

my social worker or case worker visits me every month, she's a young attractive woman...but the problem is my apartment is a dump right now, cluttered with lots of stuff and a bit untidy...should i feel any shame or just take the attitude of ' so what' and not give a damn.

she visits this monday morning.

@4meAndyou it does i believe, you're right, when me and my mother get along and don't fall out, she says the same thing, that after tidying up, i'll feel so much better about myself.....i'm going to start doing it bit by bit and tidy a bit each day, thankyou again for answering.

I'd say more so for your own sake than hers you should try and give it a tidy, you might feel a bit better about things.

I will add given you mentioned her being attractive, no matter how well presented your apartment is, she's not going go on a date, she's your social worker and to her mind that makes it a no go.

@BuckeyesandOC40 thanks for answering, of course you're right i didn't want to give that impression that i expected her to flirt or date with me...its just i felt a little embarrassed and awkward about the surroundings i live in.
