i think my life will be a lot easier when i stop comparing my situation to others.

Not allowing yourself to compare yourself, your station in life, your situation etc. to others is a very important life lesson. The fact that you are understanding that truth at your age could benefit you greatly throughout your life. I didn't really get this until much later in life.
