Madness or Genuis

I used to think about madness or genius and whether i was one or the other. I then went and met a madman and a genius. And I met more of them. Turns out some geniuses just didn't know how communicate and the mad person couldn't see how the words coming out of his mouth were wrong.

And so they both just had big egos and liked, stir up trouble and couldn't believe how they were wrong. My answer for myself became "Nothing wrong with a big ego. Helps protect against prying eyes."

Also I was not a genius or mad.

Sometimes the line between madness and genius is blurred.

@Sidewinder Can you cite an example. Which celebrated genius is certified mad?
@sree251 Vincent Van Gogh, some say Hitler was . Tesla they think went mad.
Hemingway, Nietzsche went nuts at the end.

Geniuses and big egos? The ones I have met, have none - they either give or they are so introverted in their genius they spend their day crafting birdhouses and have a thousand of them in their backyard. But I guess, if both of them find the world mad, you could say they have 'ego'....puff...

@SW-User I'm told that pride is a poor substitute for intelligence.

@Sidewinder Yes, but it's hard to determine. I for the most part consider this world mad, and I look upon those who just really live as genius. It shouldn't take pride to live in your own world.

How do you know that you are not mad? Being in the bell curve and normal like everyone else in a mad society doesn't mean you are sane.
