I'm sitting here at my volunteer job, completely alone (when I'm very much not supposed to be by myself) because nobody else turned up.

I saw a post on here just before that said "you're hotter than you think you are" and despite knowing it was very much not aimed at me, I still dared to hope. It doesn't change much, but I can still dream that a woman might somehow find something about me that's worth loving. It won't happen, but still. Oh well 🙃

Stomping yourself into the ground isn't going to get you anywhere in life. If you don't like certain traits of yourself that are fixable, put some effort into working on them. And try to depend less on female validation for your sense of self worth. Ironically, you'll be more likely to attract someone if you care less about being able to.

@TheGreatLeveler intellectually I'm well aware of your points and their validity. I wrote this in a state of poor mental health so that's why it's like that.
