Thoughts and stuff

Today has been a decent day. I've had 3 days off of the last 6 this week, since Easter means the shop isn't allowed to be open. And I went out with one of my friends to a cafe for lunch to celebrate my birthday which is on Wednesday, since I won't be able to do so on the actual day. Plus I've sold a whole lot of my own models to someone I know whose son is interested in them, and I'm selling one of my Lord of the Rings armies to one of my friends and buying an army off another friend.

It feel kind of odd, turning 31. I'm an actual adult now, rather than a 'young adult' and I do not feel competent or adequately prepared in the slightest. It probably doesn't help that I'm going to turn 10 years older than the birthday I was so determined to not survive to, and knowing that leaves complex feelings.

I know nobody much cares about my simpering whining and other assorted nonsense, but I'm glad to have a place to express these thoughts, lest they eat me alive.

I'm sooo happy that you're becoming 31 this Wednesday! Happy that you're still around and interested in all of those models. The Mumak, (update #4), is beautiful. I'd quite like to see a few more photos of it. Post or send me them? Please? It much more involved with details than I thought when you first showed it.

What's the job you have? Is it a shop that makes or repairs things? Something where you use your hands and skill manufacturing new things or repairing machines.
I just don't imagine you working in a dress shop or or any merchandise type place.

I'm glad you found this place I'm glad I did too. How is it, one can somehow sense the calm outlook of others, just by reading what they post, not feeling any sort of guile.
