How do you get past a bad mood?

I drink lots of water, get in the silent mode and listen to deep house music at a soothing volume.😇

I ho for a walk. I play music loudly. I dance. I lecture myself sternly. I remind myself my mood is temporary. Sometimes I go to bed early and wake up in a better frame of mind the next day. I spin poetry.

If I'm irritated as hell, I'd punch a wall or do anything that'll harm me (no cutting), then I'll feel a little better.

@Xalvadora Been there. Anger management is not my forte. Therefore, I bought a punching bag and it helps me get rid of the unnecessary frustration. You're a young woman, you may utilise your anger for something good. Join an MMA gym. You could be the next 'Amanda Nunes' if you dedicate yourself to the art. Good Luck!😇👍

@SoLeRiMix I don't have anger issues. The only times when I do become angry, if I am accused of something that I didn't do, especially with no evidence backing up their claim. And since I am an introvert, there are these times where I'll want to be alone and that feeling is strong. That strong feeling with be mixed in with anxiety or will make me irritated/frustrated. All that unleashes when someone doesn't want to leave me alone and let me go back into my safe space, aka, my room. But that could be depression playing its part as well.
