Why is it when people do us wrong, we are the ones left feeling terrible?

That is such a true statement. However, I would feel even worse if I turned out to be the one doing others wrong with no consideration for their feelings.

Because they have no conscience and lack empathy,

And the victim suffers because of loss

Isn't that how it works.

You get hit by someone , you feel the pain.
