I’ve been very much in the past lately. I even found my Mom’s journal the other day. When I was living in the van I was constantly in the present, which was great, but upon coming back I realized I hadn’t settled with things from the past that would be necessary to settle before I can move forward. Sometimes I think it’s important to dive into that pain and past life to understand yourself better today. Yet if you cry, people begrudge you for your journey because it’s not smiley and positive. I could cry today and feel better tomorrow, but of lost friends because nobody wants to deal with the hurt and shadows. I don’t promote either way. Positive/negative, it’s all part of it.

@RebelFox I live at my mom's old house. I do not legally own it, but my brother does but he does not stay there. I won't bore you with all those details but the point is, and my experience it could take some time, maybe even a few years to adjust but eventually your mom's house might just become home should you decide to fix it up to your liking.
