We've spent a few nights together and he kepp coming back like a panting dog but I don't think we've emotionally bonded yet but he's making overtures towards me going to stop at his parents for a weekend.

How can I know if I can trust him with my secrets?

A simple thing. Don't get too involved in your love and emotions that you see things only from your glasses(with the love & emotions) you have for him. Try to read his mind and emotions. A true lover only wants your happiness.

If you don't think you are emotionally bonded. then where is the question of sharing secrets?
