Should things close up again?

How are things going in your state?

In life things need to be in balance, we can't have all the sick people, but we can't have everything shut down either.

I think ordering mask to be worn and hands to be washed, and attempting to actually enforce this is the best answer.

As most of the areas that it's out of control is the political areas that were anti-masks.

This needs to stop being a political issue, but the President made it one, and he has attempt to reverse while trying to save face (which is good), but he's only willing to go half way with it.

He wants the cases to go down, while allowing people to choose, it appears that in this case, you can't have it both ways (especially after you made it a political issue). And he's choose choice first, and try to talk around the uptick in cases.

If Nancy, Adam hillary Bill or an obama dies this week of covid 19 I may believe that it's more than the election flu

@Viper why do some always jump to the false equivalence statements??
"Letting a virus kill people" is what cuomo did in nursing homes. It is NOT a forgone conclusion that me walking out sans mask is going to kill anyone. In fact, statistically speaking, there's a 99.5%+ chance it won't.
But it feels better for you to attempt to mandate the actions of free citizens.

@easterniowegin

Honestly I was just mocking how you on how you think wearing a mask is too far, when reality, it's freaking simply.

And you argument is quite stupid, as we are not free citizens in public. We are not allowed to be naked, we all not allowed take shit anywhere, we are not allowed sell a fresh raw milk, many many places have to sanitary level to stay open, the this idea that we're actually free and allowing us not to have a mask some how be free is complete and total bullshit.

But it makes you feel better to lie to yourself.

And yes, limiting the spread of a virus does make me feel better. Because the sooner we limit it, the sooner we can go back to normal.

Otherwise, no mask, and they'll keep limiting the number of people per store and none of us want that... you just want to piss and moan about it, I actually want to do something about it.

I'm done with this conversation, have fun continuing to spread your lies.

@Viper you've got several things wrong there...
-while i completely agree that there are too many laws governing our actions, i will call out the fact that they are laws...voted on and ratified...not put forth by a tyrant.
- the simplicity of a directive has nothing to do with the need to follow it. Another false equivalence.
- a brand new virus is active...who told you that we expect to limit it? We don't limit "cold" virus. We try to limit the flu (ineffectively)...we may only learn to live with it. Your expectation is moving the goalposts. We were always told we needed to flatten the curve...never cure it.
- while I am "pissing and moaning" you are trying to control others...just so that you feel better. I am sick and tired of the emotional response: "well, at least I'm trying to do something." As if just the intent is all that matters in the scientific approach to this. Lol

You haven't shown me where I'm "lying" about anything. You've dismissed several points without honest consideration, but you've never given facts to back up anything.

EVERYTHING is being counted as covid, there was a motorcycle crash here and was listed as covid. That is the problem!
Viper · M
@curiosi that is a huge problem, as every state is doing it differently, there should be a set reasonable national standard, but the President has mostly been avoiding this, leaving the states to do things for themselves and their own way, creating many inconsistencies.
AbbySvenz · F
How about you go
Read the CDC reporting guidelines. They’re very clear about the distinction between death by Covid and death with Covid.@curiosi
