I drink alcohol

Yes, I drink but I ain't you're abusive father or husband. Just because people drink it doesn't mean they're all assholes. My cousin stopped hanging with me just because I started drinking. I never forced him to drink because I know he doesn't drink. I also know why he passionately hates alcohol and it's because his father was abusive whenever he was drunk. Ironically my father was the same way but only when he was sober (which is worse in my opinion because he's fully aware of what he's doing). I don't act all crazy at all. If anything I actually become a lot more easy-going when I'm drunk. It's supposed to do that and I'm already pretty chill without it. Unfortunately, it doesn't relax some people and does quite the opposite so it gives all alcoholics a bad rep. Oh and it's that much more annoying when the cashiers give you the stink eye or say something negative about you just because you're purchasing alcohol. From my point of view, there are plenty of people who have their own poison but they don't get as much negative judgment for it. Take for instance a fat lady buying nothing but junk food at the grocery store or the guy that comes in every day for cigarettes, what about the guy who gambles often, or the guy who does nothing but play video games all day, etc.
