My sister brags about getting drunk, but I don't consider that something to be proud of. Why do young people brag about their drinking?

Ladyryan · 51-55, F
They simply imitate the adult. And think that by doing what adults do it's means they're considered mature and should be treated and respected as an adult like they have no restrictions. Most young people who have that mindset are always near to bumping into troubles. With the huge exemptions of course.

I don't know but then I don't drink so perhaps I'm missing something. I was always against drinking, and when I did try it out of curiosity it made me feel sick.

@Allelse I do drink, but it's something that I keep private.

@PrettyLesley My grandparents drank responsibly, they'd drink at dinner, or my grandpa would drink scotch in the afternoon and fall asleep in his chair. But they never got drunk.

They think it’s cool 🤷‍♀️

Because it's good to get drunk and not give a fuck. You don't like it? Who cares?
VodkaBec · 31-35, F
@SAE5W30 An unnecessary and hostile response.

@VodkaBec you think?
