Are you afraid of death or dying?

I use to be afraid of death but not anymore. Honestly the saddest thing about someone dying is the effect it has on their love ones. Over there years I've lost many people close to me, many of whom were very young. To this day I can never understand why the good die so young. I've come to accept that death is just apart of life's cycle. As for an afterlife, I don't know if one exists.

I am not ready to die and do not want to yet of course, but I am not afraid of it (I do hope that when it comes it is quick, peaceful, and painless as possible though).

Death is a part of the life cycle we all will go through. But as you get older you accept it more. I imagine it being the same way it was before I was born. The only things that bother me about death is the pain that might occur and leaving my family. Those are the parts that suck.

@SW-User I 100% agree, It's the pain it causes on the family that's the most hurtful.

I'm not scared anymore. I'd embrace death than deal with the pain.

It's not only the good that die young, it's just that, probably rightly and respectfully, we look to the good things that people have done and their best characteristics when they die. I'm not afraid of dying because as a Christian I know the arrangements for the next part of life are already in hand.

Yes. I hate thinking of others dying and myself. I don't like thinking about it or aging and it gives me panic attacks often.

No, I don't afraid of dying. The only thing that I care when I die, is the feeling of people that I left.

I’m not in a hurry to die but no, I do not fear it!
