I really despise Christmas... So tired of hearing about that fake joy. Most People really don't care about anyone but themselves.

Xmas has been way too commercialised, I have hated it since I was 11 years old in 1981.

Those who enjoy Christmas should enjoy it. Those who don’t, and feel cynical about it, should maybe not celebrate it.

Yep mostly about giving to get. Pump ourselves up and make our selves feel good like we're good people. Very self oriented

I ignore it as much as possible. The only holiday I celebrate was yesterday, the Winter Solstice.

Maybe in your life that’s true.
I give gifts because it’s the one time of year I can help people without having others think I’m doing it for me.
I give gifts to people whom I know need and actually want things. Need is a pretty big factor. Need is rampant.

Maybe you need better people in your life.

Meh, I like it. But that's partly because I'm really close to family and I enjoy getting to spend more time around them this time of year.
