Psshh gurl id be hurt af and not go to the costume party. Not worth it
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@TryingtoLava I spent to much money on this costume to not go lol.

MelanieUK · 22-25, F
but it might of been her Daughter who picked the guests, not your friend
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@ozgirl512 she's too young to pick.
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@Iamnotacat Hmmmm, then you're back to you friend being the issue ...
MelanieUK · 22-25, F
@Iamnotacat in that case maybe you were to old to go

Dick move on her part. Take someone else to your costume thing. She'll get it together and apologise or you'll be better off without her.

When I have friends do things like that I confront them
ask if I did something wrong
2 wrongs don't make a right
If its a friendship I valued I would fix it
If not consider you not being invited as a sign ,you have drifted apart
That is pretty shady ,but maybe she invited someone you don't like
I have stayed away from family events so that my ex could go
people knew it hurt me to much to see her ,so if it was at a park or something they knew I wouldn't attend anyway ,they invited her
maybe its something like that ,,this time someone you don't feel comfortable around was invited for a change instead of you
But were it me ,I would ask and not just assume
13 yrs is a long time to throw away over a party for kids
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@rckt148 and it's not the fact that it was a kids part. It's the fact that I've been her friend for 13 years. She deliberately didn't tell me about the party when I asked. And then chose not to invite me.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@Iamnotacat I get it
My ex and I break up and I go to my best friends and there she sits with my baby brother ,,hand n hand
I was blown away she was cheating on me with my brother ,and they went to my Best Friends home ,,she knew he was the only one I would go around
So I get how things like that hurt ,,
I lost all 3 of the people I called best friends that night
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@rckt148 sorry to hear that.
Gusman · 61-69, M
Ask her if she is still going with you to the event, if she says no, then maybe she no longer wants to remain friends.
People will do what they do.
It is out of anyone else's control.
Go have yourself some fun and keep living your life.
But at least ask her.
Fernie · F
Your post implies that the birthday incident was the only time she treated you that way. No matter...you need to do the mature thing and ask her what the issue is instead of that ghost thing which is a bit cowardly
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@Fernie she didn't tell me about the last birthday party she had also. I let it slide. I also recently realized she makes things up A LOT to other people. I hear her telling people things that I know didn't happen. There is a lot of small things that she does.
updown2020 · 61-69, M
Well I am thinking by December this will be all over and you guys will remain friends. But if it is bothering you so much why not just ask her.
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@updown2020 I'm not going to ask because there is no way she didn't know what she was doing when she purposely didn't invite me. Not worth my time and energy.
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
Good bye and good riddance ...
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
Time to move on I'm Afraid,
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
Maybe it was a non event not a birthday party being commented on.You really don't know.
Iamnotacat · 26-30, F
@Butterflykisses24 no because other people were saying birthday party
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
