Life doesn’t start at birth, clearly.

The law was made to maximize charges, not decide an ethics issue.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@canusernamebemyusername [c=#7700B2]I don't really agree but ok[/c]
SteelHands · 61-69, M
Originally the limit was 12 weeks. First trimester. The brain and neural development to feel isn't supposed to happen until then.

I never ever thought anyone would allow post first trimester termination because everyone is supposed to know that.
To busy wondering what toilets they are allowed to use and running the streets in a panic over climate... what ever it is this week, cooling? 🤷‍♂️@SteelHands
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout [c=#7700B2]uggh I don't even wanna think about the toilet stuff and climate stuff anymore haha[/c]
SteelHands · 61-69, M
Someone should say it. Only a megalomaniac would try saying that they can manipulate the weather by giving everyone directions.

And governments that have nothing better to do than make bathroom laws should close up shop.

Those fukwitz

It is actually consistent if you view from the perspective of 'choice' for the mother. In this case, the mother had no choice.

How about the child’s choice to live?@SW-User

@BalmyNites I'm not being drawn into debates I don't want any part of. I will only add, I did support someone having an abortion of a child from an abusive boyfriend when I met her, and I will never change that. The unborn child doesn't have a conscious that will rattle him or her to death.
BalmyNites · F
So you supported the killing of an innocent, to pay for the sins of the father, it can’t be dressed up in any fancy way. The unborn child has NO HUMAN RIGHTS. Tell your friend to use a condom in future @SW-User

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout [c=#7700B2]yep exactly[/c]

I like how the same morons who claim that an unborn baby isn't a person because it can't survive outside of the womb also can't survive without organization dependent infrastructure like fast food and smartphones. Imagine if these people were dropped in the middle of the woods with a backpack stuffed with survival tools. They'd still be dead in less than a week.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@SW-User [c=#7700B2]true and by their logic if anyone ever goes on life support, they are no longer a life and can just be terminated [/c]
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
hypocrisy and double standards; It's like all the asshats bitching about guns, while being guarded/protected by armed security guards; or liberals who alienate American citizens while welcoming illegal aliens...
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@wildbill83 [c=#7700B2]yeah pretty much[/c]
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
This varies state to state, and Feds also have their own. Yes, there is some inconsistency, and it would probably make more sense to make it an enhanced aggravated category without a second murder charge.
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
Thoughts? Well, at the risk of angering a lot of people that I like, I don’t like abortion. That being said, I don’t believe it is my place to wag my finger and tell another woman that she shouldn’t have that procedure available, and in a safe environment.

But charging for a double murder if someone kills an expectant mother seems like hypocrisy to me. Either the unborn should be considered human, or they should not be. Society is messed up, no matter what someone thinks of the abortion discussion.
Miserablegitsometimes · 51-55, M
Exactly. Prebirth is a human being
So is your sperm... In some form... @Miserablegitsometimes
It's the real inconvenient truth xD
REMsleep · 41-45, F
I don't think that anyone believes that life starts at birth. You can give birth on Monday, so on that Sunday was it a life?
The issue is that for the purpose of abortion people want to have a place to draw a hard line.
This is why late term abortion is considered terrible and often not allowed or severely restricted because most people consider this murder after the point of viability. 24 or so weeks.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@REMsleep [c=#7700B2]I get that I just think people should just call it for what it actually is instead of just trying to pretend it isn't a life is some situations and contradict themselves when they say it is during other times[/c]
BalmyNites · F
A trumped up theory by a modern, trashy society
Zonuss · 41-45, M
I agree. But the world has no sympathy for a child when its in its mothers belly. 🙂
SW-User
@Zonuss Why don't you just say you are pro-life?
