If life doesnt start till birth, why are people charged with 2 counts of murder when they murder pregnant women?

people say this life doesnt begin till birth stuff as what i think a way to justify abortions and so on yet the law seems to see it different..

thoughts?

It is actually consistent if you view from the perspective of 'choice' for the mother. In this case, the mother had no choice.

@SW-User so its only murder if the mother doesn't have a choice ?
SW-User
@PlumBerries It would be someone else taking her right to live and choice; so yes. I'm not going to continue any further though in this topic.

@SW-User taking a life is murder regardless of who agrees to it or not.. I am not trying to even go into all the abortion stuff but it is silly to say that murder is only determined by choice.. hell people who help others commit suicide in the past have been charged with murder. their consent didn't change it and neither does a mothers choice to taking a life

@PlumBerries I'm not going to talk with a woman about woman's rights. And I really try to avoid very personal choices in politics here, for very good reason, because people get unruly and offended quick. I will only wade in this, leaving things pro-choice allows people who view things differently than you their choices, and other's pro-life the ability to have their own choices.

@SW-User men have as much right to have a opinion though about this.. mothers didn't just create life on their own.. I respect your choice not to wanna discuss it more but yeah I don't agree at all on the "men get no say" over things like this

@PlumBerries I didn't venture into the part if men have a say, other than politically. But my ideas are born in something I agree with, 'the state has no place in the bedroom'

@SW-User it was where you said you were not going to talk to a women about womens rights that made me say what I said.. I don't think of it as womens rights solely and yeah anyway wont go into it more as you don't wanna discuss it

@PlumBerries Respected. It's not I won't, I just find conversations like this end up nowhere in the end.

@SW-User I get that and yeah you are right about that for sure but I think when people get like that with discussions that they don't want to listen and see others opinions and feelings..
I respect peoples opinions if I disagree or not, so yeah I only get defensive and so on when people try to personally attack me … anyway was nice chatting with you for the short amount of time we did :)

@PlumBerries Thanks I may share more behind my thoughts sometime but right now is not the time for me. I do appreciate you are trying to have an honest conversation about it.

@SW-User all good and awesome.. thank you, I see no point in talking to people if you don't care to see their side of things or even listen to them

How about the child’s choice to live?@SW-User
SW-User
@BalmyNites I'm not being drawn into debates I don't want any part of. I will only add, I did support someone having an abortion of a child from an abusive boyfriend when I met her, and I will never change that. The unborn child doesn't have a conscious that will rattle him or her to death.

So you supported the killing of an innocent, to pay for the sins of the father, it can’t be dressed up in any fancy way. The unborn child has NO HUMAN RIGHTS. Tell your friend to use a condom in future @SW-User
