How would you feel if most of the time

When you go over to visit your dad his gf stays up in their room, sometimes she may come down just to hug and say hello. But, usually she just stays up in their room.

Could be for any number of reasons such as her wanting you and your dad to have time alone together to her having problems with depression. I’d certainly discuss the matter with your dad to get clarification if it’s a concern for you.
