Could be for any number of reasons such as her wanting you and your dad to have time alone together to her having problems with depression. I’d certainly discuss the matter with your dad to get clarification if it’s a concern for you.

My Sister in law treated me that way
I found things she liked ,and got my Brother to get her involved ,
I her case her Dad lived in Key Largo ,,and loved the song by the same name (He was murdered and my sister in law loved anything he liked )
I started singing the song ,she asked if I could sing always on my mind by Willie Nelson ,,,She said she knew it
I pretended like I didn't ,she set out to teach it to me
Soon we were singing together ,and she was no longer hiding in her room

Let her be antisocial and stay out of the way I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️
