Is it most often best to be encouraging or brutally honest with yourself and others?

@KaiserSolze I find it hard to be either one with myself sometimes, let alone both.

@YourBuddyRandall you have to start with yourself. Eg (personal example) "I'm over weight but I like the amount of food I eat" that's honest and encouraging. It's not judgement or beating myself up. Or "my life is far from perfect by society standards but I like it" also honest to myself and encouraging. See it's easy lol

@KaiserSolze "I might ask goofy questions late at night that don't make any sense, but I'm proud that I,ask questions at all."

How'd I do?

@YourBuddyRandall yeah honest and encouraging - fantastic. See you took the judgement out of it the "should" I should ask better questions or they should make sense and you got honest and encouraging instead.

You ask goofy questions and you like asking goofy questions and that's good.

So you did fantastic and it's easy right?
