What part of your childhood that haunted you till now?

I don't really talk about that.

Alcoholism. The physical violence that happened. I can neither tolerate alcoholics nor corporal punishment for children. Nor can I tolerate yelling still.

The feeling that it wasn't safe. Couldn't speak out. Couldn't speak up. As an adult, I learned how to speak out and up. I think when I turned eighteen, I realized I couldn't be silent anymore. I had a voice and I needed to express myself.

most part to be honest, I never had a great childhood. It affects me a lot even to this day.
It has haunted me before, but I learned to cope with everything better.

the years I had to go live with my father and mother, he was cruel to my mother and to us kids too.

I'm not exactly "haunted" by it. But it has affected me a lot, probably. From when I was 4 until I was around 14/15 was probably the worst time in my life.

From the age of 6 to 13 I'd rather forget I ever existed for that time period and block it out from my memory.

The way my peers treated me right up until high school. I wish I could forget.

None. I loved my childhood. My nightmare has been as an adult.

Ages 12-16

From a baby till age 9. Childhood abuse from my father.

mostly my mother, she could be a hard and mean woman. I see other people with positive relations and memories of their parents and feel a bit wistful sometimes.

All of high school

From the age of 6 until I was 10 I spent my summer with a great aunt. It was an abusive relationship for me and had a lasting negative impact on me especially with my relationships with women.

9-15

7-10, 16-18. Bullying and overwork respectively.

And that's not even mentioning the spankings... :-/
