None. I loved my childhood. My nightmare has been as an adult.

@DarkHeaven I think most people can relate to that.
@SW-User Some. Children are often victims, though. I just wasn’t.
@SW-User If you were, I’m truly sorry.
SW-User
@DarkHeaven Well, yes, I was involved in that. But now I'm happy, and I'm fine.
@SW-User Good.
@DarkHeaven When did it all change, my friend? Usually childhood is where the problems start.
@PoetryNEmotion My mental illness had no event trigger that I know of but it happened at the age of 31 about a week after my birthday in November of 2006.
@PoetryNEmotion That birthday was the last good day I remember and everything kept spiraling out of control until Valentine’s Day of 2007.
@DarkHeaven Curious. And you cannot remember it. I am sorry for this happening. If it was good before, then it can be good again. I know that is small solace. It is true though.
@PoetryNEmotion I remember parts. It was like living in a real nightmare. I was suffering severe hallucinations and delusions and didn’t know why. I’d never been to a psychiatrist because I had never needed one. I was completely unprepared. It was like I was on drugs or something, except I don’t do drugs. I rarely even drank back than, and never very much. As a musician that handled the sound, I’m a bit of a control freak, so I didn’t like drinking or doing drugs.

@DarkHeaven And how do you feel right now?
@SW-User Heavily medicated. lol

@DarkHeaven 😬 I hope you'll get better. *hugs* 🤗
@SW-User Me too & thanks. 🖤 Or at least not get worse or my meds quit working. I’m terrified of ever having to go back there. 🦋
