Whats the use?

Sometimes I have to find things to do with myself, but its hard. So I plan things with friends. Because if I force myself to do things with people then I wont retreat. But then people cancel on me and ive been in bed for two days not wanting to do anything because I dont know how to feel better. Whats the use of feeling better?

Spend time in nature. Try to get some fresh air and take everything you have to get yourself out of the house.

You can learn a lot about yourself when you're alone. Go for a hike and take a good philosophical book.

Of course making plans with people obligates us to go out, but let's try harder to push ourselves to do these things for ourselves.

I, too have wasted far too much time contemplating how I'd get out of bed.

Get up and get yourself ready.
