How do you deal with rejection?

I was rejected today. In the past I would have let that lead me down road of depression. Today I shrugged it off.

its one of the reasons i can't panhandle , because i care what people think or say to me and it can hurt me , but others seem to be ok with it because they just don't care or have a conscience
