It it worries you then there’s no harm in consulting with a doctor, especially if it would make you feel better.

@Classy well my experience with psychologists have been less useful than my own counsel. Psychologist's advice for depression; put a coin in a jar every time someone pays you a compliment, then when the jar is full you can count all the coins and see how great you are! I don't think this justifies this particular psychology affording a five bed house in London and not very helpful in improving one's mental health. Might work for some but haven't come across anyone that it would.

@JovialPlutonian that’s so irrelevant I’m lost. Did you read her post? I wasn’t talking about depression nor was I talking about a psychologist.

sounds like bipolar to me.

@ThatSherlockFan I’m no doctor but you could have a mood disorder
Butterflykisses24 · 51-55, F
@Classy Depends on what type of bipolar you have. There are two different kinds. One where you have periods of energy and don't need sleep and euphoria.Described as mania.I have two family members having both types.Doesn't always mean you are depressed.

@Butterflykisses24 both still deal with depression but one form of bipolar is just more mild, that’s my understanding of it

You sound like an empath

@JovialPlutonian I'm actually not that good at relating to others feelings or understanding them, and I don't consider myself a believer in that such. I'd call that understanding social cues, in which i don't.
JovialPlutonian · 36-40, M
@ThatSherlockFan i wouldn't relate social cues with feeling emotions of others
