It’s always difficult to lose a beloved family member to death.
You will never find another dog quite like him, but in time you can learn to love a dog that’s very different from him. The new dog isn’t a replacement for the old one, but is another companion and family member when and if you’re ready for that.

rest in peace your dog, i know how attached you can get to a dog, i felt the same with our Tibetan spaniel 'griffin' when my mother had to give him a new home because of unforeseen circumstances, it breaks your heart, i know.

Sorry for your loss. Losing your pet is like losing a family member, let yourself grieve for a time, but do also remember all the good and fun times you had together.

So sorry hun i know how u feel my rabbit a red rex she died in march and im still hurting badly. She was almost 10.
