Do you take this place seriously?

There are some wonderful people here once you get past all the other stuff.

I take my friends seriously and they mean something to me.

There are very few people here that I take seriously. The ones I am closest to know it. Other than that i really just want to have fun and not harm anyone.

There's no denying to the fact that are lots of fake profiles and pervs in here. However, there are nice people with genuine experiences as well. Finding or meeting them might be a slightly difficult task but they do make you smile when you become good friends with them.

Pervs, fake profiles and other sorts of trouble makers can still be ignored or blocked to be kept away. For me, those who add you and then don't talk at all makes no sense to me. There's another trend that I simply don't understand. Some folks interact only their posts. I just don't understand it.

I am not an introvert but I refrain from discussing personal stuff in public. Private messages were created for that purpose.

I start with the assumption everyone is fake in some way. That said I will chat with anyone about anything and hopefully on the process I will work out who the real people are..

This is a forum, it is merely entertainment. I thoroughly enjoy talking to a couple of people that I have connected with outside of here but as far as the negative stuff, I don't let it bother me.

You can’t take any online venue seriously. And I agree with so many here who mention the plentiful oddballs. That being said, there are also some really great folks here. Lots of them. They’re fun, normal, engaging, and worthwhile. They make much more if an impact than the screwballs and trolls. It’s the only reason I’m here.

If you dont take this place seriously then that means you dont take the people seriously which says a lot about you. You have to take people seriously, otherwise what's the point in even being here?

It's seems to mostly be the women who have problems with "pervs." and that's really too bad. I enjoy learning new things here, keeping abreast of long time friends, and possibly helping others out now and then. Folks here have been very helpful to me over the years and I appreciate that.

I don't think being a perv, i.e. having a fetish (as long as its adult, consensual and safe) is necessarily a bad thing. It's only harmful if the person is obsessed with it to the exclusion of everything else. Then it could harm their relationships, job, etc.

Sex is an important part of life. But if all a person cares about is sex then they are a huge bore.

Unless trying to be funny, which I've pretty much given up on on this site, I am almost always sincere or try to be. But to take it seriously, not sure what that means..

But, there are about a dozen or so people that I respond to there posts frequently. Though I don’t see that as serious, I absolutely respect them and am glad they’re here.

I have some close friends here whose thoughts and posts I take very seriously. I have many others whose online company I enjoy but with whom I really just interact occasionally or for entertainment. And then there are others I see here who are so batshit crazy that I can't take them seriously at all!

not in the slightest, though there are a very small few people on here who are actually decent interesting people. I enjoy seeing their posts and chatting with them.
The rest of the people here are basically a joke to me, not real in the slightest

I take myself seriously. I keep to myself and try to surround myself with people who are serious.

If the discussions are serious I try to treat them seriously. A lot of the posts are just having fun.

Just when I think someone has a brain up to speed I'm disappointed. Short attention spans and inadequate education ruin SW as surely as the pervs do. Don't get me wrong. I believe there's some wonderful people here. Just very few true intellectuals of good moral character.
