I am going to open up a electric cafe for all the robots to come and sit and recharge. It will run off a generator, and it will be a high markup because I don't think the government will maintain the electric grid in the future even up to todays standards- and add all the electric cars, and brownouts everywhere.
The robots are going to be crawling to me for recharge, and I am going to charge them out of their sockets. It's Gas, Ass, or Grass, no one recharges for free.
Automation of anything comes with a warning label. History shows us that.
These days much of what we eat is tasteless and filled with things that didn't exist 50 years ago but manufacturers have created to either increase shelf life or minimise cost and maximise profit.
The latest version of A:I and robotics is just business pinning it's hopes on progressing that. Although I've yet to see anything they say they're applying it to make any sense to the consumer.
@DeWayfarer u know how many times I have heard of the end of earth in my life time so fare and it has never happen. Even this year they said we would be sent back to the stone age because of a solar flare.
The earth goes through cycles of warm and cold. Did u know this isn't even the warmest the earth has been. The Dinosaurs survived it for millions of year's. Even our ancient humans survived the coldest. I think we will be alright.
We better survive it because we sure can't leave the earth with our level technology. Where would we go to Europe may have water under it ice. But we can't really go there because of the radiation on the surface. Also our technology couldn't even take us to the closest earth-like planet. Gee that would take thousands of year's of travel. We had better call Captain Kirk on Star Trek to take us.
