I am sad to be an American. My country is the laughingstock of the world, we have a leader who is a criminal and so on. I am just sad.

My husband, although never a shpporter, didnt see this until he moved. He's embarrassed. It's all he gets asked over here and he reminds them all he will never go back until Trump is gone.

Odd. That's exactly how I felt these past 4 years. We were the biggest embarrassment in our countries history.

It can go as far as not being seen as the laughingstock but as a threat and an enemy. That's the worst about it. It's possible that the European negative sentiments about the USA from 2001 will emerge again.
