@jefferson I'm not much of a reader but I might give it a try

I haven't figured it out. I have the same night owl routine I've had since I retired and and the pandemic started. The night before last I was awake all night lights out critters next to me as always. I don't get it. When it happens I fall asleep sometime around 6 or 7 in the evening which of course really offsets me routine.

@Gibbon same last night I feel asleep around 2:30 and sleep until Joel got up at 4 am. I couldn't fall back asleep so I've been cleaning every since

Have you looked into sleep therapy before?
If your husband could maybe watch the kids a few days, maybe take a couple of days at a sleep therapy place.

@basilfawlty89 no I haven't I was supposed to do some sleep study a week ago but had something come up that was more important and they haven't rescheduled

Try to avoid all all stimulants like screens, cigarettes, coffee before going to bed…
Read a book, meditate, drink a glass of milk.

@Sweetpoison I've cut out caffeine all together. I need to look into meditation a lot on here keep suggesting it. I just don't know if I can get into a relaxed frame of mind
