Memorial Day bbq

We're going to Grandma's for a huge family cookout.

This is so new to me but I really love it.
My parents never celebrated holidays when I was a kid so I really love being in a family that does

Joel's ex wife will be bringing the boys back there

I don't think we'll stay long because Joel is in a lot of pain. The er doctor told him he would be. But the swelling has gone down since yesterday so that's good.

And Star came over last night so I could take my sleeping pills. She usually goes to her dad's house or stays with a friend. I'm guessing my buddy asked her to come home. Or maybe she knew how tired I was. Having her here in case my daughter got up in the night sleep walking helped me relax

I slept so good. It was amazing. I wish I could take those pills every night. But they knock me out. Joel had a hard time waking me up this morning.
