Severe pain in upper arm

Just wondering if anyone has experienced something like this ...I tried to pick up a heavy heavy Bureau the other day and now my upper right arm is killing in severe piercing pain . it is debilitating ..I called about medication over the phone they said Tylenol and Advil but if it continues more than a couple days then see making evaluation appointment. Does anyone know if this could be a torn muscle OR sprained muscle or what and how long it took for you to heal from it ?thanks😢

Misty, do you have a dull ache deep in the shoulder, Disturb sleep, difficult to comb your hair or reach behind your back, accompanied by arm weakness ?

@SW-User piercing pain in my upper shoulder. They said take Tylenol and Advil together. No I can't comb my hair and reach behind my back. This is really debilitating.

@Coralmist Babe, I hope it is NOT but it sounds like a torn rotator cuff. It take months to heal

@SW-User The pain is mostly in upper arm, not as much shoulder. Mostly near bicep area.

@Coralmist I hope it is not the rotator cuff & only a bicep torn
