I’ve been dealing with palpitations and anxiety attacks since last week. I assumed it was overfatigue from being overworked.

It's supposed to be a rest day and told myself I'd rest. But noooooo, your girl cleaned the whole room, did all the housework and acts like I’m possessed by a productivity demon. 🥴
I am my own worst HR department and I need a union.

Chores can be meditative. And it feels good when everything's clean and tidy. Sometimes I can't rest if it's not personally. Are you that way too?
@Notsimilarreally
Pretty much and sometimes I hate that I do. I've been working from 9am-2pm then 4pm-11pm for 6 days and my day off is basically my rest day, which in this case I wasn't able to. I need help!

I'd send a disapproving picture but I'm Ill so you'll have to imagine it 😅

I found running for 20 minutes helps get rid of excess adrenaline and reset the nervous system
@Mordechai
What happened???

@Mordechai

Now it's clean so you can rest on the next rest day?

I do the same crap to myself. When you work a lot life piles up and that doesn't feel good either. It's hard to wind down. Are you getting good sleep at night?
@ScreamingFox
Hardly, I gotta make food when I get home and take a bath. Mostly I go to sleep around 2-3am then had to wake up 7am for another shift. 🫩

Maybe if you just sit, place one hand on your belly and the other hand on your heart and stay like that for a while... And take a few breaks during the day doing that...
@Boeing
This is helpful, thank you

@mindstruggle I'm glad if it helps... try to remember to do it, is simple but effective, it helps you regulate your breathing and nervous system.

Someone needs to calm you down.
