Is there something wrong with me?

I’m genuinely asking because I’m unsure and maybe someone here has answers. For context, I do have generalized anxiety disorder and minor ADHD, but I have never experienced what I’m about to get into before this month.
The past two weeks have been miserable for me for multiple reasons. I’ve been excessively sweating and had very weird sensitivity to temperature. I’ve been incredibly paranoid lately and I’m not sure why, but it’s been keeping me up at night. But the things I have questions about are these: I’ve been very very physically reactive to loud, ambient noises (such as motorcycles, trains, sirens, etc), and have started getting angry and/or having unpredictable panic attacks after hearing clicking or chewing. All of my reactions are completely involuntary and scary. I’m unsure if the sweating and paranoia are related to these issues. Does anyone know why this happens? Does it happen to anyone else? Any ways to stop it? It’s making my body very exhausted and creating more reason to stay awake all night. Any help, explanation, or advice is appreciated. Thank you.

When I'm super stressed out, loud talking or annoying noises like someone chewing with their mouth open will bother me, when before I could ignore it. I get headaches and some mood swings. I'll excuse myself from the room if I can and go somewhere quiet for a few minutes to sort myself out.

I eat like a vegetarian for a week, drink lots of water and make sure I take daily walks and go to sleep consistently and make plans for what to do about what is stressing me. That usually solves it.

That's a neurodivergent thing, whether it be ADHD, autism, or whatever. I get unreasonably annoyed when my dad is chewing with his mouth open. I'm sure other people around here can assure you that your other recent experiences are not unique.

It's not unreasonable. Nobody wants to see stuff in other people's mouth; especially, while eating at the same table. Don't be too hard on yourself. Not eating with dad would hurt his feelings and you can't do that. If dad is a talker at dinner, it would make things worse because you can't not look at him in conversation; especially, on politics and he likes Trump and you don't.

@sree251 I never said my dad liked Trump. I said he has some things in common with him, but even my dad, as far gone as he is, sees Trump for the disgusting excuse for a human being that he is.

But no, what I mean is I hate the sound. We all sit in front of the TV to eat dinner, which is probably not healthy, but whatever, so I don't see what's in his mouth. I just hear that noise and it's like reverse ASMR.
